Hello Friends!
We hope this Labor Day weekend finds you well and enjoying some extra time off work! We are very busy this weekend, but it's exciting work so we don't mind it a bit! The entire month of September is shaping up to be chock full of busyness for us, so we'll get right to it and attempt to keep the exclamation points to a minimum!
First off, we've released a brand new song titled "Least of These" from our new record and you can listen to it and download it for FREE right now at www.truthbomb.net! In less than 3 days since its release, we've already given away over 1800 downloads! We'd definitely like for you to download it while you've got the chance. It will only be available for free until later this month when the new album comes out. When we released "Least of These" on Friday night, we hadn't planned to release it to radio because there are other songs on the new album that we thought would be better suited for radio. But it's looking like God has other plans! "Least of These" has already been added in heavy rotation on Voice of Truth Radio (San Antonio, Texas) and has also just been picked up by LIGHT FM (Milton Keynes, United Kingdom)! We have several other radio stations around the world are interested in adding it as well! We are honored that God would take this song so far!
Secondly, our aforementioned upcoming album, Where I'm Found, is coming along splendidly and we can't wait to release it! Everything should be finished in a few weeks and then it will be hitting iTunes, Amazon MP3, Rhapsody, eMusic etc. at the end of the month! This is our first full-length album (9 songs) and by far our most diverse project to date. We are exceptionally thrilled about Where I'm Found because we feel like this album really captures who we are as a band.
Third, between September 10th and October 20th, our frontman Andrew will be cycling 1,000 miles to help raise awareness and funds for Blood:Water Mission to help them reach their goal of building 1,000 wells in Africa! In 2005, Blood:Water Mission launched the 1000 Wells Project, a nation-wide effort to raise enough money to provide clean water and sanitation for 1,000 communities in sub-Saharan Africa. Since that time, 859 water projects have been completed, serving a total of 570,000 people in 11 countries. Please consider sponsoring Andrew as he cycles 1,000 Miles for 1,000 Wells! Rejoice EP Now on iTunes!
Hello Friends!
We hope this update finds you well and enjoying the season that we celebrate the birth of the God-Man, our Savior, Jesus Christ! The three of us have always loved Christmas (who doesn't), but Christmas music is another story.Those old, beautiful Christmas carols that were really like Christmas themed hymns have always been favorites of ours. But all the songs about Santa and reindeer and presents and the Grinch and Frosty and chestnuts and sleigh bells and... well you get the idea. Those songs have always bugged us. Not only are most of them on the musical level of Barney and Friends singalong songs, but the lyrics are NOT about Christmas! So when we decided to record a Christmas album, we knew we were not going to record sentimental mush. We chose the beautiful old Christmas hymns. People don't write lyrics like that anymore. But rather than record the same arrangements that have been done countless times, we wrote brand new arrangements. For me, the new music for these songs has made the lyrics come alive. Sometimes you get so used to hearing the same thing the same way for so long that you stop paying attention to what the song is actually saying. We hope these new arrangements make these songs feel fresh and new to you. We hope the lyrics penetrate your heart and set your focus on our God who came to visit us. Our God who came to save us. Our "God with us". "Rejoice! Emmanuel has come to thee!"

October Update
Hello Friends!
I apologize for a lack of HTML in this update and for the fact that it's been way too long since we've kept in touch with you all! I wish I could blame it on being crazy busy with really great things, but that would only be a very little bit true. We are currently working on a Christmas EP that we are REALLY excited about, but most of our time has been stolen due to the three of us (as well as the rest of our family) being completely under the weather for the last couple months. We have run into a bad bout of flues and colds since early August and have still not recovered. So this e-mail is to inform you that we have very little to inform you of :).
We will be up in southern Georgia on October 30th and 31st, so if you would like us to play a concert or lead worship for your church or event in Georgia, North Florida, or South Carolina, on or near those dates, shoot an e-mail to our manager, Mark Boyce (AKA Dad) truthbombmanager@yahoo.com.
Pre-production demos for the Christmas EP sound really good (if it's all right to say that about your own project) and we have begun to lay down final tracks for the album! Big News!
Hello Friends!
We have some big news that we are so excited to finally get to announce!! Tomorrow, July 21st, we will be digitally releasing the Hourglass EP on ALL of our web sites! We have found a really great company called Bandbox that many artists are now using to sell their music on-line. With Bandbox we will have a little store on our web sites where you can instantly buy and download the Hourglass EP or individual songs from the album! The track listing for the Hourglass EP is:

We are so thankful to you for being patient as the release of Hourglass has been repeatedly delayed. But the wait is over and tomorrow - for the first time ever - anyone, anywhere in the world will be able to purchase our music!
As a side note, earlier this year Andrew was having some health issues that were becoming very concerning and kept us from finishing the album on time. We have been extremely thankful to discover that Andrew's health concerns were not nearly as severe as we had feared they were! His symptoms had initially seemed to be hinting at a heart condition, but it turns out it was asthma! He has been treated and is feeling much better now! Praise God!
So we have much to be thankful for right now. And we are! We hope you enjoy the new music! And if you do, please spread the word about it!! Write a review on your blog, post our Bandbox store on your Myspace page, web site or blog, tell your friends, your pastor, your worship leader! We don't have a record label promoting the music for us, which means we need YOU to help us get the word out! There's only so much we can do to get the music out there.

The Hourglass Tour!
Hey Friends,
We've been cooking up LOTS of plans the last few months and now we're on the brink of putting these plans into action. We are VERY excited about all we have coming up in the next few months.
First, this month we'll be playing several shows throughout Florida to kick off The Hourglass Tour! The first of which is this Saturday at Bethany Temple Church of God in Tarpon Springs, FL. This is a FREE concert so please come on out and join us for the first show of the tour! And if you live too far away or just can't make it, I have great news. The concert this Saturday night, March 7th, will be broadcast LIVE at http://www.bethanytemple.org/ at 6:30 PM EST!
Second, we are still hard at work on the Hourglass EP and plan to release it digitally in April worldwide! The specific release date is top secret information at the moment - only God knows when it is! As soon as He clues us in on His plans we will definitely let you all know! We would really appreciate your continued prayers for this project. Things are coming along well, but it's going to be tough to get it done in time for the second leg of The Hourglass Tour.
And that brings us to our Third bit of news. We are booking several shows in the early part of May in GA, SC, NC, TN, etc.! In our four years as a band, we have only played in Florida and Georgia, so we are REALLY excited about bringing our music to these other states! We are also talking to several churches as far west as Texas about bringing The Hourglass Tour out there this summer! If you are interested in bringing the tour to your church or venue, send our manager, Mark Boyce, an e-mail at truthbombmanager@yahoo.com. And yes, Mark is our dad!
Also, another way you guys can help us out is to tell your pastor/worship leader/youth pastor, or whoever is in charge of booking bands at your church, about our music and ministry. And if you want to take it a step further, you can then e-mail our manager with the contact info for that person so we can follow up. The biggest obstacle for independent bands is obscurity. If you have told, say, your youth pastor about us and then our manager calls him up, he will now know who Truth Bomb is and that there is at least one fan in his youth group. He'll already have a reason to book us. And of course, telling your friends and family about us is awesome! That's probably one of the biggest ways we gain new fans.
And last but not least, we now have a Facebook fan page, so go become a fan of Truth Bomb! We are also on Vimeo and 12seconds and we will be posting more video updates soon. Thanks so much for reading! Hope to see you soon on The Hourglass Tour!
